Privacy policy
How we handle your data.
Last updated: 18 September 2026 · Notice provided under Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR)
1. Data controller
The data controller is Manuele Marchi, VAT no. IT18688261009, based at Via Aurelia Antica 424, 00165 Roma, Italy, reachable at info@amely.menu. For any question about this notice or about the use of your data, write to the email address above.
2. What data we collect and why
Demo request
When you fill in the “Book a demo” form you give us your full name, the name of the restaurant, your email address and, optionally, a phone number and a note. The form either prepares a message in your email client or sends it directly to info@amely.menu through a form-handling service acting as our processor: in both cases the data reaches us only when you press send. We use it to contact you, organise the demo and answer your questions. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Email and other contacts
If you write to info@amely.menu or through our social profiles, we process the data you share to answer your request, on the basis of our legitimate interest in handling correspondence (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Browsing data
The site is a static page and uses no analytics or profiling tools. The server hosting the site may record in its technical logs the IP address, browser type and date and time of the visit, for security and operational reasons. This data is not linked to identified persons and is kept only as long as strictly necessary.
Third-party services
To display fonts and some photographs, the site loads resources from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd.) and Unsplash (Unsplash Inc.). When the page opens, your browser sends these services the IP address needed to deliver the files. You can read their policies: Google, Unsplash.
3. Cookies
The site uses no profiling cookies and no third-party cookies. It only uses technical storage in your browser (local storage) to remember the language you chose among those available: it contains no personal data, is never transmitted to anyone and can be deleted at any time from your browser settings.
4. How long we keep the data
Data sent through the demo request is kept for as long as needed to handle the request and, if the service is not activated, for a maximum of 12 months from the last contact. If you become a customer, the data is kept for the duration of the contract and for the further periods required by law for tax and accounting obligations.
5. Who we share the data with
The data is processed by authorised staff and by the suppliers that help us deliver the service (for example the email provider and the hosting provider), all appointed as processors under Art. 28 GDPR. We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for marketing purposes. Some suppliers may be based outside the European Union: in those cases the transfer relies on adequacy decisions or on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. Your rights
At any time you can ask us to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, object to the processing or receive it in a readable format (portability). You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of your country. To exercise your rights write to info@amely.menu: we reply within 30 days.
7. Nature of the provision
Providing the data requested in the demo form is optional, but without name, restaurant and email we cannot get back to you. Phone and notes are always optional.
8. Changes
We may update this notice to reflect regulatory changes or changes to the service. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the update date at the top.
